Besides the Carapax roof tarpaulin, we now also offer our Brooklyn roof tarpaulin. (Why we choose the name Brooklyn? Have a look at New York’s famous bridge!)
We start from a standard roof tarpaulin and add diagonal welding tapes. The welding tapes start in a specific pattern from the headboard and back diagonally towards the sides of the roof. Thus we obtain a light but strong web that absorbs diagonal and lateral forces when taking sharp and S-curves. The diagonal welding tapes are connected to the corresponding roof sticks.
Brooklyn is also tested and approved according to the EN12642 Code XL standard.
